Dubai hotels to include in your bucket list

Dubai is home to some of the best hotels in the world. A freelance photographer who has been to several countries for work and spends his time immersing himself in the culture around him, Kavan Choksi lists the hotels based in the UAE city that every traveler should plan to book in.

Atlantis, The Palm

A 1,539-room, $1.5 billion mega-resort, Atlantis is included in countless tourists' bucket lists. Aside from its splendid accommodation, the place also has a 42-acre water park, a giant aquarium that can be viewed directly from the Underwater Suites, and a shopping mall that houses designer brands. But guests should be wary that all the fun the Atlantis provides comes with a price in the form of huge crowds.

Burj Al Arab

Considered the world's only seven-star hotel, Burj Al Arab is luxury defined. The place is a dream for photographers because of the building's sail-like façade, says Kavan Choksi. The UAE hotel has 202 duplex suites lined with marble and gold and has bathrooms stocked with branded toiletries. It also has a fleet of Rolls-Royce Phantoms in the property to bring guests to where they need to go.

Jumeirah Al Qasr

The five-star Jumeirah Al Qasr hotel is located on 1.2 miles of private beach. Its luxury rooms and suites incorporate traditional Arabian influences, and the property is said to be inspired by a Sheikh's private summer residence. Kavan Choksi recommends it because many renowned UAE hotels typically have soaring towers. Jumeirah Al Qasr guests can enjoy one of the best beachside experiences in Dubai and have complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark.
